This work features a collection of copper-colored fabrics that I embellished to suggest the blue-green verdigris that appears over time on items made of copper.

It was constructed from black cotton fabrics from which the dyes were selectively removed, then embellished with paint, improvisational stitching, fabric ravelings and threads, buttons, copper wire, and painted jigsaw puzzle pieces.

This work was juried into Au Naturale at the Ricky Tims Quilt Art Gallery in La Veta, Colorado.
