Employing the ancient Vesica form as its primary design element, this work invites reflection on how experiences shape the story of our lives.

The work was created from cotton, wool, and silk fabrics that were dyed, over-dyed, and stenciled with paint, as well as from fabric commercially printed from designs developed by the artist using personal journal entries. The panels, which are embellished with improvisational stitching, also feature translucent organza "windows" embellished with appliqué and improvisational machine embroidery.
