Let my prayer come before you as incense,
the lifting up of my hands as an offering to you.
Inspired by these words from Psalm 141 as expressed in Marty Haugen's Holden Evening Prayer liturgy, this work celebrates one of the songs that I often sing while I work in my studio.

This work was created from silk and metallic fabrics that were pieced and appliquéd, then embellished with paint and improvisational machine stitching.
