This work was created for a themed exhibition titled “Don’t Fence Me In.”

It was constructed from commercial fabrics and cotton fabric from which the dye was selectively removed using a Shibori pole-wrap technique. It was embellished with stitching and hand-stitched pieces of abalone (from a bracelet).
