Living Water of salvation, be the fountain of each soul;
springing up in new creation, flow in us and make us whole.
Inspired by these words from Marty Haugen's "Tree of Life and Awesome Mystery," this design evokes connection with the ancient baptismal emphasis of the Lenten season. The varied shades of purple, from dark to light, invite reflection on the somber themes of Lent while also anticipating the new creation that God is fashioning in and through this season.

The design was executed using dye-painted silk noil and linen.
